One of the greatest treasures of Macedonia cultural herritage and folklore are the ceramic ikons from Vinica , exceptional piece of art from the beginnings of the christianity.They have grown to one of the biggest archaeological sensations of the Balkans .They are found on the location Kale on the south -west side of Vinicaon one plateau surrounded with ancient walls.They have dimensions 31x29x4 and 32x20x4.5 and 33x29x4 cm.Dating of the ceramic ikons from Vinica are from the end of the V and beginning of the VI centuryThey were used as a decoration in the funeral objects , and a part of the funeral ceremony. Dimensions of ikons are:32x28x4cm and 21x13x2 cm with different prices.
